Instead of flogging a dead horse and getting into the controversy of “who shot first,” I’d like to share some amazing pics dealing with the topic in hilarious ways.
Player Profile is a series of articles in which R2-EQ looks at players in the X-Wing community. Many people would like to get to know the person behind the player. In X-Wing, the players are renowned for being “nice guys” and often can be quite characterful when you scratch the surface.
Today’s interview is with Wapcaplets, known as Chris in real life. I met Chris in Toronto where we faced off playing in an X-Wing Escalation Tourney. In my loss to Chris I learned how not to fly X-Wings and how a good player with TIE Interceptors will punish you. If you’re ever lucky enough to have a game with him, you’ll see he is a true gentleman and a credit to the community. So without further ado, let’s get to the interview.

Its no secret that X-Wing can be a chaotic game with plenty of memorable moments. For the past few months, I’ve been taking pictures of some of the more memorable moments at Black Knight Games provided by myself, my opponents, and by others playing while I was merely an onlooker.
What follows is a rambling account of my matches from the 2015 X-Wing Regionals held in Toronto, Ontario at 401 Games. In a field of 53 people that went in, only one of us was going to walk out of there as the champion. It was like Thunderdome, but without the bad casting.
My hopes were high, my ship count was low, so let’s get to it…
