I was asked if I would like to post a guide on how I made my lit A-Wing model, and I said sure. I had fitted an A-Wing with lights in the engines, for a gift, and the wires almost entirely internal to the model. As a first run/attempt, the model is permanently attached to the stand, so to get pilot token must be split to slip onto the base. I have a few custom bases made to get around this, but I have not entirely worked out the tiny connector required to make it work. Continue reading Lit A-Wing Engine Mod
This is a repaint I did for my friend Yik. It’s a Blue Squadron B-Wing that is fully rotational. All my B-Wings are modded in this fashion but for Yik I wanted to do something a little special.
Crew members have become a huge part of the game since they were introduced back in wave 2. The consensus is that the crew upgrade is one of the best in the game, and there are several available. Many of these crew members give you the ability to gain or modify tokens you receive in a predictable way, but one of them in particular, Lando Calrissian, is extremely unpredictable.

After reading Theorist’s post on X-Wings I started to think of the Astomechs available to Rebels and their place at the start of wave 5.
R2-D2 – Thank goodness this great little droid is still relevant. What would a Star Wars game be without R2-D2? Continue reading Good, Bad and Ugly Astromechs at the Start of Wave 5
Here are a bunch of Christmas themed Star Wars pics for you followed be a special Holiday Season Star Wars movie!
This was my first B-Wing repaint which I did back in wave 3. It’s fully rotational. I sawed off the cockpit and inserted a magnet so that it will spin.
This game is so much fun! I can’t believe how cool it is. If I had a time machine, the first thing I wouldn’t do is go back and see the dinosaurs, or assassinate a deranged world leader to prevent a world war. I’d take a copy of Imperial Assault back in time and give it to myself as a 16 years old boy, “Here kid, this is going to change your life… oh and here are some stock options.” Continue reading OMG OMG OMG Imperial Assault!
