Hello everyone! (Sorry for my English…)
I went to my very first Escalation Tournament this last weekend and I wanted to report my day. First of all, it is a very fun and interesting format. The thing about increasing the size and strength of your build after each match is thrilling.

Hi everyone! I would like to share some great ideas I have to enhance your X-Wing experience. But before you continue reading, please be indulgent as my first language is French.
First of all, I have to say that X-Wing is the best table-top game I ever played. It’s been more than a year now that I play it and I think of it all the time (I’m sure I’m not the only one). But, there were 3 things about it that bugged me and I found ways to overpass them and I would like to share them with you.

In X-Wing you have many different ships and pilots to choose from, each with unique abilities. Some of these pilots and ships are overlooked by the tournament goers and the Meta at large, getting little to no representation at the tournament level. I call these overlooked Pilots the “Forgotten Aces.”

Hey folks! My names Joe, and i must confess I’m a Rebel, and an A-Wing fanatic.
My love affair with this awesome little ship started when i first began playing. It was a dark time, full of mystery and X-Wing was just getting its legs under it. Continue reading A-wings, and my experience with those little space kayaks of doom
Near the end of X-Wing’s Wave 2 expansion, my life as a table-top gamer was in transition. Privateer Press’s abandonment of Monsterpocalypse years early was finally, despite the continued love of its players, starting to fully kill the game — regular opponents online were becoming impossible to find, as each player slowly found other things they would rather do. I’d already started playing X-Wing back at the start of Wave 1, but it was time to put my brain to X-Wing. Continue reading PARSING THE X-WING
A phenomenon within the X-Wing community that has caused some minor rumblings lately has to do with so-called “fortress” squad builds. If you are unfamiliar with what that is, a Fortress squad is one designed to be deployed in a way that ships indefinitely overlap giving a player, for all intents and purposes, a stationary gun platform. Continue reading Attacking the Fortress
Hey everyone! I’m Jacob, and I love X-Wing. It’s not surprising really, as it’s both an incredible game and has to do with Star Wars. I’ve been both a games player and enamored with the SW universe from a young age, so it’s a bit of a perfect storm really. Continue reading The State of X-Wing in Saskatchewan
This weekend was an exciting one for me in my world of X-Wing, it was my first chance at an Escalation Style Tournament. I had only heard about them from more seasoned players and never thought I’d get the chance to play in one. Luckily for me, the “FoodHammer” organizers thought it was the perfect format for their charity event.

As one of the five Canadian Regionals winners I decided to make the trip to Hamilton for the Canadian Nationals and I’ve been asked to provide my thoughts on the event. But I’m getting ahead of myself – I’ll start with a little background: Continue reading How to not win the Canadian Nationals
Stress, it’s an interesting mechanic in X-Wing Miniatures and honestly one of it’s unique ones. It can be handicapping, or used for your advantage in certain ships or even ignored completely by Tycho. So, the question I am setting out to answer; is it worth building a list that deals out stress?
