Today is the 50th Anniversary of That Other Great American Sci-Fi Classic

Even though Star Wars is more popular around the world, and has generated much more money, here in North America Star Trek is a pretty big deal.

On September 8th 1966, 50 years ago today, Star Trek premiered on American television. In honour of that, I’m posting some pictures celebrating mashups between both universes because I personally love them both!
